I became fascinated by the idea that the way things are now is not how they'll always be, this is just a snapshot in time. And with these social media platforms to connect people in new ways and to enable new forms of collective representation. It was just this cluster of all these things that came together that got me really interested in it. Then, as frustrations built around social media, that just reinforced that this was an interesting direction to go in.
