Working with fincher so young due toward your evaluation of all these directors that came after. It was the first time that i felt unrushed, unhurried, unpressured to really explore that thing of spontaneity. He spends his money on time and he allows actors to find their moment in a liminal space - not knowing where it will go. There's always time for mistakes but there is no need to worry about them when you're working under such intense pressure as we are now. I love my prap soarive, perhaps, ready to roll and then to be present, to do that thing that we fall in love with actors doing.
