Aps have since been consolidated into sort of generalized workfellow aps by the big platform companies. Instead of having an ap for grocery store shopping with an art grocery store centeographic, you just get like a generic to do at from google or microsoptrae. And it seems like a lot of the early aff developers face this dilemma, like, if you can't turn your thing into a platform, then you're going to either get acquired or you'll go out of business.
