The Power of Words in Judaism
At the heart of Judaism there's concept of brick covenant which is a mutually binding promise between God and human beings. Covenant is the word that joins heaven and earth. To misuse or abuse language to so suspicion and dissension isn't just destructive, it's sacrilege. Take something holy, the human ability to communicate and thus join soul to soul and use it for the lowest purpose to divide soul from soul. That was the birth of morality and human responsibility.
