The Importance of Charity in Teaching Gender Identity
A few months back at the school, we had one of our teacher and services. We brought her back to speak to our faculty about dealing with students who may be struggling with gender dysphoria. She was this phrase that I've used a couple of different times now in talking to people: To speak truth without charity is just cruel. And then she flips it. But however, right, but to speak with charity without truth is a lie. Right? If we really, really love somebody, then, and we really have their best interest in mind, then how do we keep the truth from them? It lacks love, it's just cruel.
