The Ninth and Final Plague of Pharaoh
The eighth plague ends with Pharaoh repeating pattern that many of us are familiar with. He says, Lord, now therefore forgive my sin. And then the Lord removes the locust and he returns right back to his sin. The Lord hardened his heart and he doesn't let the people go,. Which leads us to the ninth and final plague, at least for our discussion today. There's no buildup. There's just the sort of the plague of darkness. It's everywhere.
