The Impact of Domestic Workers in Oman
More and more africans have migrated to the middle east in recent years. They're paid less and sometimes treated worse than asians who used to make up the majority of the estimated a hundred and 50 thousand domestic workers in aman. A deliberately low key rescue operation is providing those things, trying to avoid too much attention from the authorities. Those helping are volunteers, mainly expatriots in oman and a few foreign based en gos. One organization do bold, formerly known as project one, eight nine, organizes repatriations for those already living on the streets.
