In 1985 British Air Tours flight 28m, abowing 737 with 137 people on board is about to embark on a charter flight from Manchester, England to Corfu, Greece. During the takeoff roll, while accelerating through approximately 125 knots, the pilots here allowed bang and begin aborting the takeoff. When all is said and done, 55 people have died in an accident, where the plane never even left the ground. Why did so many people die in this accident?
