Why Do People Say Different Patterns of Pitch Accent?
The more that I went through this process of paying attention to pitch accent whenever I listen to Japanese the more it became clear and clearer. It was literally like my brain thought that any word could be pronounced with any pattern I didn't realize there was a relationship between the two. My hope was if I would just train my intuition if I just listened to it enough my intuition would naturally like accommodate pitch accent but I tried that for a while and it didn't work like my pitch accent probably improved a little bit.
