The Difference Between Illustrator and Artist

I feel like a part of that distinction comes from just frustration because there isn't a single catch-all word that we can use yeah. An illustrator is probably has the same toolkit and the same skill set as an artist but the product they make is driven by someone else's commission and someone else's requirement so there is an end goal that is pre-decided.
