"I found a girl who's plausibly elephant sterile, but I can't know for sure," she says. "All the girls on the maps are given initials, like two letter initials that don't correspond with their names." In this book, there's a mention of a girl named Ella. But if she's a note in these maps, we know her so well as a person.
