The Challenges of Machine Learning in Drug Discovery
There are multiple challenges with a machine learning especially deep learning in the drug discovery space, there are multiple challenges of different kinds. As the models become more powerful, the level of rigor and how you benchmark them needs to match it. And engineers and life scientists have very different approach to problems. So I think we're still in the early stages of kind of merging to approaches and merging to cultures. But at this stage, I'm confident that these little kings will be ironed out as we go along.
