The iPod was this step. Now music was in your pocket. I know many, many most of the people in my family, in circle of family and friends. Music is really important part of their lives. And so to have this wonderful part of what makes life worth living,. maybe make you feel better when you've had a down day put on a great song. The iPod in all of these ways was this springboard to the product that came next, the iPhone. A tremendous amount of learning and self-education happened. Then Steve was bold enough to apply some of these resources and take a risk to parlay, kind of go double or nothing.
