The Evolution of Human Behavior in the Idea Space of Wikipedia

Study asked 149 participants to browse Wikipedia for 15 minutes a day for 21 days. Data collected included how much time they spent on each page in Wikipedia and how they transitioned from one page to another. Using this data, researchers were able to determine whether humans walked between nearby pages or more distant pages. They are now working with the Wikimedia Foundation to move beyond the 149 participants to a much larger sample of data that's been collected completely anonymized way.
