In Turkey, we've got the general election on Sunday. Currently the polling is very tight between President Erdogan and his challenger. There is a potential for a second round on the 28th of May. A little bit closer to home in the UK, we've just had local elections. This is not particularly important for fiscal policy but it is a youthful, leery barometer of where things could be next time.
