The Journey to Become a Professional Writer
By the time I was about 14 I was writing short stories you know. And then I got into the university and I was very fortunate to meet a few friends who were also interested in writing. After university I then decided that I was going to do an HEME in creative writing. But the foundational years for me really began when I was in the university as an undergraduate in Nigeria. Some of who I'm still friends with are my first readers and first critics.
