Using pan recognition, a computer can recognise letters based on patterns it has seen in the brain. The same neurons that are firoing in my head now when i try and handwrite something will still be firing if I'm paralyzed. So at the moment, it's personalized to their brain. Doubtfully, we want to look towards ways of making that process a lot faster.
