Paycheck Journalism

I was upset that the only reason Phoenix had agreed to do an interview with me was because we were paying him several thousand dollars. Have you heard the phrase, pay check journalism? Yeah. I've been a journalist for 15 years and I've never paid a source for an interview. It's generally considered unethical. And I understand all the arguments against it. But as a journalist, I have the power to shape how the world sees Phoenix.
