I think just like everything is insanely uncertain. We don't really know how to construct great arguments, sort of like test which arguments are good. There's no particular reason to think that apes on earth are going to be capable of necessarily grasping the true nature of the universe or guiding their own destiny. I'm not sure that that is something that a human can really grapple with all the time. It's something you just have to almost accept on some meta level and then forget so you can go about your day.
