I realized that when you go through very, very hard times in your life and you need something, magic, esoteric, tarot cards, crystals, new age is not going to help you. It's a dark forest that leads to a cliff that you fall off. And I was introduced to Orthodoxy, which makes so much more sense out of Christianity than any Protestant teachings that I was ever introduced to. So that was my journey from race Christian, totally rejected that, went the entire esoteric route, did not help one bit and then found the true Orthodox church.
