"I grew up in, you know, this very Anglo dominated patriarchal world. And so I did what I thought I was supposed to do," she says. "And man, did the gods and ancestors really hold me for that." The three sisters of pachamama 5280 are working on a sustainable food project at their home near San Francisco. They hope to create an eco-village where people can learn about sustainability from each other's perspective.
