The Insanity Defence - What Iam Not Buildin

Joel rifkin pleaded not guilty to 17 murders. He fired his lawyer and hired two new ones, trying to get rid of his first confession. His memory wasn't perfect, but he led police to where several of the bodies were stashed. The assistant district attorney offered joel a deal, forty six years to life for all 17 murders, but only if joel pleaded guilty. Joel declined this offer in hopes that he could claim insanity and be acquitted of all his crimes. Not only will i go to my death relieving these horrors, but i will go there never knowing why i did them at all.
