The Politics of Hauntedness
Culture at large is kind of like what we talked about last time, nothing new is being produced culturally. Around this time, Fisher starts talking about what he calls hauntology. And so Williams as an alternative to hauntology and a postmodernism posits what he calls post-landian acceleration. In land's version of acceleration, the human agent doesn't play any role in the process. But Williams and his acceleration quite explicitly puts the human back in because somebody has to remove these blockages on processes.
