The Importance of Simulations in Machine Learning

The word simulator evokes a model of real processes, which can be used to run virtual processes in virtual reality. It does not imply that the AI is only capable of emulating things with direct precedent in the training data. An arbitrarily powerful or accurate simulation can depict arbitrarily hapless sims. The power of factored cognition slash chain of thought reasoning is obvious. A proper scoring rule is optimized by predicting the true in quotes probabilities of the distribution and thus incentivizing honest probabilistic guesses.
