Anxiety Has a PR Problem
I think this pandemic threw everyone into a real tizzy about mental health it's so exciting that mental health is getting so much attention and also it's like maybe there's bad marketing for some of it. I sometimes say that anxiety has a PR problem PR you know this marketing is this it's all about the stories we tell and they're really powerful. Our kids when they struggle with anxiety they struggle with hope they struggle with creativity Struggle with how to persist and how not at the same time. It should just lift so much of the cloud of panic in our adult selves so that we can actually be there for these kiddos. have to keep on reminding ourselves of all of these things
