Are You Using Replication Assignments in Undergraduate Programs?
Many econometric classes at the ph d level and an undergraduate level are incorporating replication assignments. Am uw, i call it a replicate and extend approach. It's not going to be able to answer all questions, and so sometimes you have to to to be a lot more original. Ah, but for someone who doesn't even know what the software is, i think starting with a repplication is the best way to go.
