The Scarlet Letter

The story of the scarlet letter was told by a man called mister surveyor pew. It is said to have been one of those decorations which white men used to contrive in order to take the eyes of indians. The original papers are still in my possession, and shall be freely exhibited to whomsoever may desire them.
