The Vulnerability of Black People to State Violence

Every 28 hours in the US, a Black person is murdered by the police. State violence becomes very important to as a frame for understanding the specific vulnerability of Black people at the hands of agents of the state. And so we have to understand that state violence is not just simply about sort of white settler colonialism, it is not simply about a non-Black state agent who is murdering a Black person. Everything is connected. It's all working together.
