The October Revolution opened the possibility for other revolutions around the world when the Bolsheviks took power and showed that it was possible. And yet the external cause of the Bolshevik Revolution is not what caused revolution within China. It was the class contradictions inside Chinese society which were necessary for that revolution to occur.
