I think there's so much populous bitterness against the profitability of companies in corporate america not caring enough for the little guy. I actually really like wage subsidies because, in a way, it targets exactly the source of the uncertainty. This is one of the reasons i am very wary of moving away from employer provided health insurance. It's one of the few benefits the companies actually feel pressure to provide their employees,. Even though it costs companies a lot of money.
