Antony Van Leuwenhoek: The First Person to See Sperm Under the Microscope

Antony van Leuwenhoek was the first person recorded to see sperm under a microscope. He used small magnifying glasses to look at thread count on his wares. But then he also decided to put other stuff in front of this lens, such as blood cells and pond water. And so he wrote these really long, lyrical letters to the learned gentleman of the Royal Society in London about his discoveries.
