The Heavens Were Torn Open

Mithra was a fastscoring religion in the Roman world. It's such a gigantic part of your gospels, because it's the fastest growing religion of the world. The western apologetic response is to go, well, which temple curtain was torn then? And i suppose that maybe in some of my apologetic classes, we would have said both of them. We just miss the whole point: Jesus's come in and changed the entire cosmos.
