Progressive Muscle Relaxation
This is called progressive muscle relaxation. I'm just going to do like a quick like 60 second demo and listeners can participate. Follow my instructions. So sit up straight, comfortable posture, but upright. We're going to start in your hands. Feel every muscle all the way from your fingertips up your knuckles into your meat of your hands up to your wrist feel every muscle clench into a fist. And then feel that clench and then take a deep breath in. When we exhale, I want you to release all the muscles inyour hands. Let your hands settle. You'll feel your fingers maybe tingle a little.
