Is Russia More Like Other European Countries?

Russia was preparing for a major war to take over a country. This kind of good that at hasn't happened so far here. I mean, they've adjusted some things with nato. But, i mean, they would become very worried about major conflict,. if a country was doing this and not clearly saying exactly what we intend to do... It happens all the time in world history, and we know what it looks like.
