There's a lot of pressure that comes from being the v p. No one else reports to you, so engineering doesn't report to you. The opposite happened where my g m,. we had two layers of pm management above me and into it. I think they need to do a little soul searching. It's not the job, you want the title. You want the responsibility. And i mie, for me, the best answer is always skills and responsibility. That's what you should be solling for.
