Angela Rayner's Frozen Out by Keir Starmer's Inner Circle
Keir Starmer tried to change Angela Rayner's position from campaign coordinator into another role. There was a great deal of pushback on that, and the outcome ultimately was that she came out with about three or four different jobs. I think everyone has come to see Rachel Reeves as a kind of de facto deputy, but I don't know how Kia Salma would move Angela if they were in government. Why wouldn't you want Angela and I doing deputising PMQ as well while KIA Salma is not there?
