How to Be a God's Friend

I love this bit about becoming God's friend. It's like the person who prays vague prayers invoking God's will without doing the work of knowing God or God's will specifically. I'm always struck at how he centers love in his theology. Hearing him in his own words and the diversity of his own words, especially for Augustine more so than maybe for some other figures is a key to listening well.
