Both sides come to the conversation with a very different set of assumptions about what a human being even is. In that kind of a world view, humans are just animals with an extra large prefrontal cortex. This is just a biological coupling for the propagation of our quote species. If there is a creator and there is creational intent and we're not animals, we're image bearers of God created out of a beautiful mind.
