i love to hear about this. When i lived in new york in the early two thousands, i once had a lunch with a norwegian economist. He went out of use in norway in the 19 sixties. And why was that? Well, it was because salaries were getting too high. In all of the nordic economies, you've had co lose, to a century now, of a tradition of wage bargaining,. which compresses wages and lifts up wages at the bottom end from what they would otherwise be.
