Is There a Role for Government in This?
There is no mandatory recall and that's a major gap in Australia. The Department of Agriculture has appointed consultants who address nutrition requirements and safety requirements including recalls. Those reports are due over the coming month. So we've done all of that and then we've identified that there is a problem. What happens next? Okay, so usually then the manufacturers get involved and as far as I'm aware it's the manufacturer's discretion whether a product is recalled but again Roger would be in a position to confirm that. We want to see that happen.
