The Individual Versus the Macro Perspective
I look at decision-making in America right now and so many people, the electorate, have a hand in decision-making. If I want to contrast that to something like China, Vietnam, Singapore, where you've had these benevolent dictators do pretty good things from a macro perspective for their economies. And if you really drive across America, you can see across cities, yeah, there's some redevelopment, but a lot of things just don't get done anymore. A lot of what was built in Manhattan would not be built.
