Anaphallamus Hitlerai is a tiny, blind, caribbean beetle found in the remote caves of Slovenia. It was named in 1937 after the infamous dictator Adolf Hitler and is probably the most offensively named animal in the world. Scientists really think it's time that there's a protocol in place for when this happens so that names can be changed. There's a code of priority to the first taxonomist to name a species.
