Stalfenberg may have planted the bomb, but behind him was a network of plotters. Prince friedrich zu somsbarut had huge estates in brandenburg silesia. The plotters would turn up there and use the carsl and the estate to plan under cover. After the plot failed, the gastapo soon came knocking at his door with a pistol. But they managed to subdue the old prince and took him to the stapo house prison,. He was dean in nine months and tortured, but not killed. That's interesting. How did he manage to escape death?
