Thomas and Theobold of Begg

Thomas was placed in Henry's household by Theobold of Begg. He rose through the ranks, becoming an archdeacon and chancellorship. Thomas is a man of high ambition who searches after perfection. As Chancellor he sent a delegation to Louis VII in Paris during a period of reconciliation. In 1158 they were reconciled but it didn't sit very happily with the Brettons. It's fair to say that they were not fully reconciled at the time.
