How to Reduce Knife Crime in England and Wales
There were 282 murders involving a knife or sharp instrument in England and Wales in the 12 months to March last year, which is the highest total since 1946. 99 of those people were aged under 25. All in all police recorded nearly 50,000 knife related offenses last year up to December. We already know what works to drastically reduce knife crime but why aren't we doing it?
