What Does Poverty Mean to Day?

What poverty means to day is not necessarily what poverty meant a hundred years ago or 200 years ago. Just because you live in poverty does not mean that you can't have a good life. There are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people living in food deserts right now. The only food they have access to within a forty five minute walk, because they can't afford cars, is cor er store junk food. And then we want to blame them for when they act out or sell drugs or get into a fight or join a gang. It is absolutely terrible the way some of these neighborhoods are.
