The Future of Rust
The firecracker VM that powers Lambdas is written in Rust. I've heard like a lot of S3s infrastructure is moving to Rust because it's just easier not to shoot yourself in the foot. So yeah, I think there's a good future but it'll take some time before people start to do a lot more work outside of the JVM and Scala. It's starting to use Rust more. At least I hope so.
