The Disentanglement of Learning and Learning in Language Evolution
The work I was most satisfied by or kind of grateful to be able to contribute to a series of really simple mathematical models. By integrating those classes of models, what you're able to do is look at biological and cultural evolution in the same setting. The key result was that when you have both of those evolutionary processes in parallel, that the fitness landscape in the biological process is much smoother than you would imagine when you don't have cultural evolution.
