The Improvising Barred Poets

Graham: Some of the pieces with the oldest language have the newest technology. He says scholars had no idea why it was the way it was and they attempted to but could never draw lines between old and new until one guy let's see I've I wrote his name down let me let me find it here I think it's George Kirk  - Jeffrey Kirk not George Kirk so what he realized is that when they are composing poetry on the spot because they are improvisational poets, bards would improvise pieces around stock phrases that worked. So if I as a storyteller or a bard wanted to tell this big long story I would probably inherit pieces of it from a bard before
