School is such a short period of our lives. Most people during those 60 years do not re engage with learning. And it's because, ike, there's not necessarily the incentive to do so. We're genetically programmed to have mentors and go through apprenticeship periods that can last a decade or more. By the time we get out of our our formative years, are basically squashed by the structure of public school and then university.

Most recently, she wrote a book, Doing Content Right, that has sold over 3,000 copies.
